Siena Views

We climbed to the tip top of Siena, in the Piazza Del Campo tower, called Terra di Manga.  I think this was the first day I fell in love with the city because I saw how it all folded into this one central point.  The city opens its arms to visitors and hugs you into its history.  I will forever call Siena home.

Colors of the land

Colors of the land

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre, which means the five lands.  Each coastal town is splashed with delicate colors and glowing with life.  The early settlers build their cities by hand, a slow process upon the steep coastal mountains.

Sunset

The sun chases away to my friends and family back home, giving them beauty for their own.

A dopo!

Arrividerci cugina!
I miss you already!  As the time passes without you I have realized that my experience in Italy would have never been the same without you!  I loved getting to know you and growing with you in one of the most beautiful places in the world!  Thanks for making a life to never forget!
Ti amo,

Living for today
Inside the churches of Florence you are flooded with silence so still that you can hear your heart beat.

Florence

...and love it!

Leaning Tower of Pisa

And the first person to hold it!

Pisa

So everyone down played the magnitude of this building!  I was told it was over rated.  "At the most all you need is a cheesy picture and then you can leave."  But let me tell you, this askew tower blew my mind!  I mean it REALLY leans and here I was tilting my head at this historical building feeling like I was the first person to discover it.

Mi dispiace!

So this blog seemed like a good idea at the time...but what I have quickly figured out is time flies in Italy too!  Internet is hard to come by.  Siena is old, and very few places offer wi-fi.  Excuses aside, I have finished my schooling in Siena and I'm looking forward to a slower pace during my internship.  My plan is to catch up the blog to where I am now.  I hope I don't forget everything!

Imagine

Chiesa di Lucca

Every building is so beautiful.  The details that trace the sides and columns remind me to be more patient in life.  Beauty is everywhere!

Biking around the walls of Lucca

Noi andato a bicicletta!

Biking Around Lucca!

We rented bikes for a whole day in Lucca.  The town is small and quant so we were able to bike around the whole perimiter of Lucca.  Heres what I saw:
